Meet Nick Michaels
Nick Michaels was an indifferent high school student. He was not motivated to go to college. He joined the U.S. Army and was sent to Iraq.
He was a combat photographer attached to an intelligence unit. Not only did he take pictures, but he did photo analyses of reconnaissance photos. His dislike of bureaucracy began when much of his work, not politically correct was swept under the carpet. His tour came to an end when he was wounded by an anti-personnel mine. He has a plastic knee, which works fine, except when he has to kneel on it. As a result of this he gets a 15% disability pension.
He attended USC on the G.I. Bill majoring in Anthropology. As a loner since Iraq, group activities were not his thing.
Not wanting to work for a bureaucracy, he chose to become a private investigator. He has computer skills, combat experience, anthro background and he can do it alone.
But a couple of very grim recent cases have motivated a career change. Step one, a job on an archeological dig where he will come face to face with Smoking Frog.
